Continental Wire Cloth has grown to
become a global leader in finer screening
for the drilling industry.
Continental Wire Cloth is a global leader in replacement screen technology using proprietary mesh technology our screens increase solids removal capability with high fluid processing rates, and outstanding operational life. All Continental screens are API 13C (ISO13501)compliant and independently tested for cut point and conductance.
Continental screens maximize solids removal efficiency significantly reducing drilling fluid volumes and disposal costs. Reducing the amount of drill solids in the mud system resulting in cleaner drilling fluids, less dilution, lower wear on parts and tools and lower disposal costs. This increased solids control efficiency and cleaner drilling fluid reduces downhole issues which can impact drilling time and lower overall drilling costs
Continental Wire Cloth’s proprietary CRX™ mesh is designed to maximize efficiency and improve solids removal and flow rates. This High Conductance and High-Performance Wire Cloth has been developed with unique aspect ratios to reduce screen blinding and help with improve solid control efficiencies.
A square mesh designed for high cut point integrity with maximised screen life and to minimise near size particle blinding.
Continental Wire Cloth participates in the API RP 13C screen labeling practice and has implemented this labeling on our complete screen panel product offering. API RP 13C has become the standard for physical testing and labeling procedures of shaker screens. API’s RP 13C (Internationally known as ISO 13501), is the standard for physical testing and labeling procedures of shaker screens. To be compliant, a screen must be tested and labeled in accordance with this recommended practice. To meet API RP 13C compliance two tests are required: cut point and conductance. API RP 13C allows the end user to compare by cut point, conductance (fluid flow), and non-blanked open area.
Continental Wire Cloth are the OEM screen manufacturer for Vortex Fluid Systems and have a range of screens suitable for the Orbital 3000 range of shakers. Screens are available with the UF and Continental’s proprietary CRX cloth which produces high cut point with increase flow capacity. The MEG 3D configuration increases shaker flow capacity and allows for finer screening increasing solids removal and overall solids control efficiency.
The CWC manufactured non-OEM replacement screens for the Brandt™ VSM 300™ shakers utilises an advanced precision robotic welded frame and Continental’s proprietary CRX™ and UF clothes to produce a superior screen with high cut point integrity at high flow rates. The MEG screen increases surface area by over 20% for increased in open area and fluid handling and to allow finer screening.
A superior pre-tensioned non-OEM replacement screen for the Cobra™ and LCM-3D series of shakers utilising a robotic welded frame and the proprietary range of cloths from CWC. The exclusive MEG 3D design screen increases surface area over 35% resulting in an increase of over 30% flow capacity.
The CWC Multi-sizer non-OEM replacement screen has a superior design and robotic welded frame for a better fit. When combined with the Continental CRX™ cloth this results in a superior screen with high cut point, high flow rates and increased performance.
The CWC Mongoose non-OEM Replacement Screen for the Mi Swaco® Mongoose® and Meerkat® series of shakers utilises an advanced precision robotic welded frame and Continental’s proprietary CRX™ and UF clothes to produce a supplier screen with high cut point integrity at high flow rates. Available in the MEG 3D configuration to increase flow capacity and allow for finer screens on the flow line.
Continental non-OEM replacement metal back screens for the Derrick® FLC 500™ series of shakers utilises the Continental’s proprietary CRX™ and UF clothes to produce a superior screen with high cut point integrity at high flow rates. The MEG screen increases surface area by over 30% over flat screens for increased open area and fluid handling capability to allow for finer screening.
Continental traditional hook strip, metal back screens for the Derrick® FLC2000™ series of shakers utilises the Continental’s proprietary CRX™ and UF clothes to produce a superior screen with high cut point integrity at high flow rates. The MEG screen increases surface area by over 30% over flat screens for an increased open area and fluid handling capability and to allow for finer screening.
Continental non-OEM replacement screens for the Fluid System line of shakers utilise superior designed frames robotically welded for improved quality, Continental’s proprietary CRX™ and UF clothes to produce a superior screen with high cut point integrity at high flow rates. Available in the MEG 3D configuration to increase flow capacity and allow for finer screens on the flow line.
