The New 3 Dimensional, Corrugated, Shaker Screen from Continental Wire Cloth

MEG 3D screens from Continental Wire Cloth have been developed and rigorously tested resulting in a new premium shaker screen which takes a bigger bite out of solids at the primary shakers. MEG 3D screen provides an increased capacity of approximately 30% compared to conventional flat screen allowing for finer screener, improved solids control removal, dryer cuttings discharge and reduced drilling fluids and disposal costs.

The design of the MEG 3D screens combines the benefits of conventional flat screens and the increase surface area and capacity of traditional corrugated screens. The flat sections between the sloped and corrugated zones improves NBOA (Non-Blanked Open Area) over other 3D screens but also helps solids conveyance and cuttings dewatering. This unique design not only improves capacity and the ability to screen finer but also reduces drilling fluid retention on drill solids.
